On September 12, 2010 the national final has revealed a winner; a14 years old Mariam Kakhelishvili will be representing Georgia at the final of JESC 2010 in Minsk.
Born on October 9, 1995 she started singing at age 3. Her first on stage appearance at a vocal completion "spring bells" occurred when she was only 5 for which she received her very fist award after having impressed the jury with her high range and subtle voice.
In 2005 she was awarded another time at the competition named after a prominent Georgian singer Gogi Dolidze. At age 12 she traveled to Egypt where took part in Junior Song International Festival in 2007 where she also got a special award for her talent.
In 2008 Mari Kakhelisvhili participated in national final for JESC 2008 and was awarded with the second prize.
In 2010 she was one of the youngest participants of the project - Georgia's got the talent ("Nichieri"), where she absolutely shocked the professional jury with her deep understanding and interpretation of the famous hit by Beyonce - "Listen", she therefore became a winner of the third prize.
The same year Mariam was presented at the national final with the Song - Mari Dari, where she demonstrated her powerful voice, wide range and vigor. The young talent was presented by "Bzikebi studio", a producing center managed by Giga Kukhianidze.
